With over thirteen years as a freelance writer and editor under my belt, it seemed high time to take the plunge, officially launch my own company, and really get serious about the book business. I guess you could say I was inspired, which is how the name for Inspira Literary Solutions came about.
Inspira is a boutique book development and design company. My aim is to support individuals and organizations who may not necessarily be writers by profession, but who have a message or a mission they want to get into print – such as a book, a course, or training materials. What I do, essentially, is provide them with an a la cart menu of every service necessary along the way to self-publication, from book idea to book-in-hand. If they want to submit their manuscript to a traditional publisher for potential publication, I can also assist with general manuscript preparation and book proposal writing.
Inspira’s offices are located in beautiful Gig Harbor, Washington, a charming waterfront community nestled along the Puget Sound in the northwest corner of Washington State. It is a region of remarkable beauty and inspiration, which is part of the reason for the name – Inspira.
Inspira will deliver the same personal commitment to clients I always sought to deliver as an independent freelance editor–and then some! Now I am able to offer greater capacity with an expanded team of qualified writers, editors, and designers. And, I’m looking forward to bringing an even greater degree of creativity–and inspiration–to the amazing people with whom I am privileged to work.
